Madhawi is the Managing Director of Equal Chances @ Green Development (ECGD), a leading consultancy in the areas of Governance and Sustainable Development. She is recognized for her extensive knowledge and experience in analytical research and analysis, strategy, and project development. Madhawi is a Governance expert and utilizes the key dimensions of sound Governance (Sustainability, Effectiveness, Efficiency, Participation, Transparency, Accountability, and Performance) in multi-sectoral assignments. At the moment she is working with the Government of Belize to develop a project proposal for improving Belize’s adaptive capacity to climate change impacts.
Madhawi has demonstrated his ability to manage large Project Teams in complex projects. With over 10 years of experience successfully delivering projects for firms, governments, associations, and international funding agencies including the World Bank, CDB, UNDP. She has successfully selected and managed multi-disciplinary teams, designed primary and secondary research activities including surveys, executive interviews, focus groups, literature reviews, etc., and analyzed and integrated various lines of evidence, report writing, and client interface.
Abstract theory and purely academic work that will never see the light of real use are of little interest to her. Madhawi is a very versatile person, who thrives on diversity and unpredictability; wondering “how can we improve?” She can be described as ‘an effective problem-solver with an unwavering focus on practical solutions’. She is fascinated by how things work, how tools can be used, and how facts can be put together to create immediate and satisfying results. This combination of curiosity and hands-on vigor contributes to her conceptual and analytical skills.
